Out with my gopro, in with my 360fly 4k!

“As a former but loyal gopro user, I was hesitant on switching over to a device that seemed too much of a novelty. I passed on 360flys first offering and eventually decided on purchasing the 4k, a decision I have yet to regret! Let me first start by saying im no cinematographer, and definitely no action sport star. I make everyday type videos generally from my iPhone, or used my gopro for first person shots (family parties, padres’ games, etc.) The 360fly is such a trip to use! The quality of the footage is insane right off the bat, and then with the app it takes everything to a whole other level. I put it in the middle of the table on during our 4th of July bbq and everyone tripped out when I showed them the video. What made me give my gopro to my brother was the fact that the fly has POV mode, which is equal if not better than the shots I get with my old hero black. Battery life is good considering how much this little guy can do. Device heats up a bit after long use, but so does my phone after long use, so no big deal there. It bugs me that this mighty mouse is getting bad reviews because I have had no issues with it (its been almost 2 months of near everyday use) …”.

I purchased the 360FLY 4K to begin shooting some 360 video and pictures. Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the video and the cell phone interface that you use to operate the camera. The APPS to work with the video… With that said, spending a little time with the APPS, will allow you to quickly become proficient in using them. To edit the video externally using a 3rd party product… there are plenty of help guides and videos to show you what you need to do in order to perform this type of editing. You will need to download a metadata injector app, available free, just do a google search, in order to make the video view-able again after editing in 3rd party software…If you want to explore the world of 360 video, then I don’t think you can go wrong with this camera. I’m sure as the APPS become more mature, the built in functionality will continue to improve as well…”
