The infamous Mike Baldwin and Alma Sedgewick were married today and for 7 years after.

Even though they were only married 3 months before he died Rita was head over heals for Ted. They would have been married 18 years today and Rita goes by Rita Sullivan to this day.

Steve and Karen got married on a bet this day in 2001. Today WOULD have been their anniversary but they were later divorced… and remarried… and divorced again!

Dennis and Jenny are wed after Elsie finds out they aren’t actually married. Their marriage didn’t last long and Dennis was sent to jail after getting caught in a scheme.

Coronation Street’s cellar man in the early 80’s Fred Gee took Eunice Nuttall to be his second wife this day 29 ears ago. Although we know they are not still married as Eunice showed up much later to explain that Fred had passed away. Happy Anniversary non the less!

The Famous Roy Cropper took his wife this day 11 years ago. Although Hayley isn’t your average woman their love still goes strong to this day. Two great characters that would be missed if they ever left the street.

Rita and Len finally tied the know in what was a big deal back then. Rita was a showgirl and Len claimed her as his own. They were married fairly happy until Len’s death in 1983. Rita is still on the street and proving that old can still be cool!
